Weekend Camp Schedule:

Friday: 5 - 7 pm: Camp Meeting and classroom session

Saturday-7 am to 9 pm: games and classroom

Sunday-7 am to 3 pm: games and session, camp close

 

What to Expect:

The Mid Atlantic Elevation Official Training Camp focuses on three-person officiating and the key metrics needed to take your career in a new direction.

Key learning topics will include:

• Officiating Philosophy 101

• Rules Application

• 3 Person Mechanics

• Officiating Signals

• Pre-game Meetings

• Video Tape breakdown

About the Games

Maryland: The games you will officiate are part of the University Of Maryland Team Camp Shoot-out. The teams will feature regional high school teams from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. Games will use high school rules. New and veteran officials will benefit from situations on and off the court.

What to Bring: Each official should bring an adequate supply of equipment including a striped officials' shirt, long black pants, black shoes, whistle, lanyard, rulebook, and notepad.

What to Wear: Your officials’ uniform is required for all day Saturday and Sunday. Athletic wear and sneakers are allowed for Friday night only.

Scheduling:

Food: All meals will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks for in-between meals.

Lodging: You will need to find your own lodging. Check out the local hotels or find a great place to stay on airb&b.com

Camp Staff:

The camp staff will be comprised of the top NCAA officials in the country with special guests including Supervisors of Officials from Division I, II, III, & Junior Colleges to help observe. Learn More Here

The Mid-Atlantic Elevation Camp at the University of Maryland (8500 Paint Branch Dr, College Park, MD 20740) focuses on elevating your three-person officiating, the techniques, preparation, and patience needed to allow you to move up the ladder in officiating.

The level 2 camp is focused on taking competent 3-person, college-level officials to the level of being ready for the NCAA
